This project was the very first personal vision I worked on executing.
I wanted to make use of a VR headset my friend had bought and forgotten about, and it inspired me to attempt bringing to life, themes of heedless consumerism and the dawn of the metaverse.
I had in mind Byung-Chul Han’s philosophy of “Achievement society, and the rise of narcissism” to materialize a Wasteland World with the only inhabitant being a dreamy and disconnected digital nomad. Playing on concepts of cyber connectivity, and digital diaspora.
